...and here's another shot of those marvellous screens. Wonderful to be able to play with them, I must say. Be even better when I can afford the hefty price tag.
Alas, those are not mine, but Apple's, as should (?) be obvious from the comments - all my 'Scraps' photos are from the Apple Store in London. I have managed thus far but two iBooks (one now with parents, for the greater good) and an old iMac.
Wonderful, wonderful machines. And they continue to surprise me. My iMac is only 400Mhz, but with 384MB RAM, it is my main machine. There is something about it - stunningly beautiful and elegant - and I am not the only one who says this. It can be a little sluggish in iPhoto - I have 14,000 photos - but...well, it all becomes clear in usage.
Pity about the Dells though. Consider an eMac or a second hand PowerBook G3 or iMac as an introduction. Processor speed matters little - for power users, the only thing that matters is RAM - if you have 384MB or more, you're fine.
